SCA conditioner for diesel engine cooling system inhibitor management.
THERMACORE™ controls supplemental coolant additive (SCA) concentration through a controlled-release media that depletes SCA linearly across the service interval. This maintains inhibitor concentration in the 0.5–1.0 units SCA/L target band without overdose or underdose conditions. The element also provides >80% particulate capture at 20 µm in coolant, removing corrosion products, scale particles, and silicate gel. Compatible with OAT (organic acid technology), HOAT, and conventional silicate coolants. Cooling system contamination control prevents cavitation erosion of wet cylinder liners, a primary failure mode in heavy diesel engines.
