Drilling Environment
Active drilling operations generate airborne barite (BaSO₄) and formation dust in concentrations that rapidly saturate primary air filters. Rig engines powering drill strings and mud pumps require frequent air filter service during active drilling phases. H₂S service requires FKM (Viton) elastomers for all seals — standard NBR degrades rapidly in sour gas environments.
