Compressed Air Treatment Train — ISO 8573-1 Purity Classes

Defines the treatment sequence required to achieve ISO 8573-1 compressed air purity classes from raw compressor output. Compression raises moisture content above ambient dew point, making condensate separation and drying mandatory. Particulate and oil coalescing filtration removes compressor lubricant carry-over. Each stage targets a specific contaminant class (solids, water, oil) as defined in ISO 8573-1. ISO 8573-2 specifies the test methods for measuring oil content to verify compliance.
